I have no idea how to create pages but I'll figure it out eventually godammit

The Joy of a Completed Page

It's even more sweet when the last card you needed was the Mantle. I was absolutely convinced that I wouldn't find the Mick until late 2009, which is pretty much how long I chased the Mantle for my 2006 Bowman Heritage set. I've got 6 of these pages down, only 33 more to go...

I just pulled that Mantle today out of two packs I bought while buying supplies.

Funny.

It's been a long time since I bought pages for my cards. How many usually come in a pack that you'd get at Walmart? What are you gonna do with the mini cards? How about the last space in the last sheet?

1) Wal Mart Sheets are the crappy ones that fall apart. Get the Ultra-Pro ones from Target if you can. They are the same price.

2) Target sells them in packs of 30 for 5 bucks or 65 for 10. The last time I got a 10 dollar pack there were a few extras in there. These packs are cheaper than my local card shop.

3) Ultra Pro makes fifteen pocket sheets for mini cards. I get them at the card shop for 20 cents a pop, you can probably find them online.

4) the last space in the last sheet is filled out with an Old Planter Crack the Code ad card.

I have a veritable ton of 2008 Allen & Ginter doubles. Well, OK, not quite a ton, but almost a 900 count box.

(Yes, it's one of the hazards of working in a baseball card store and having an addiction for this particular product.)

I need only #305 and #328 to complete my set.

Send me a list at sidmchenry@gmail.com, and perhaps we can work out a trade.

Or, if you don't have those two, you can get back to me with something else another time.

I finally caved in and bought a blaster of this stuff over the weekend. I don't get why Barton is wearing #66. Maybe he wore it during spring training at some point, but since it's not an actual photo, you'd think they could change the number since it's hardly a stretch from all the Photoshopping they do (and all the airbrushing they used to do.)

I've got a mini black border Smoltz and a mini black border Larry W Jones someone or other (must be the US Ping-Pong champ), they're yours for the taking. Just let me know at j_slugger_2@yahoo.com. I will send as a payment for devoutly reading your blog over the last few months.
